New Dragon Ball FighterZ details have emerged from the latest issue of Japanese magazine Weekly Jump, confirming that the upcoming brawler will have a story mode. That news comes as no huge surprise, but we have to say that it sounds promising. The publication describes said story mode as "a new story for Goku and friends depicted in high-end animation". Seeing as the title is running on the same impressive engine as the Guilty Gear Xrd games, we imagine that this means we'll be treated to a gorgeous looking and original Dragon Ball tale.

Meanwhile, V-Jump magazine reveals a couple of new characters. For starters, both Android 16 and Android 18 will be joining the playable roster. Android 17 will be present as well, but as far as we know, only as part of one of his sister's special attacks.

On top of that, Super Saiyan Blue Goku is playable, as is Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta. It's unclear whether these two will actually be individual characters or if they'll appear as transformations, but we guess it's the former.

And last but not least, Dragon Ball FighterZ will apparently have a party battle mode where players can team up and each control a separate character in standard three-on-three bouts. That sounds kind of cool.
