Ubisoft games have always performed well on the PlayStation 4, and going by the publisher's latest financial report, that fact's not going to change anytime soon. In this quarter of 2016, 31 per cent of Ubisoft's game sales were on PS4 -- an already big share that's actually jumped this year. Sony's console accounted for 44 per cent this time around, while just 22 per cent of sales came courtesy of the Xbox One.
All of these sales contributed to a successful quarter for Ubisoft, even though it didn't publish any blockbusters during the period. Indeed, the company's back catalogue of releases allowed it to rake in the cash, making up 93.4 per cent of its total sales. As far as we're aware, Ghost Recon: Wildlands is still the best selling title of 2017 so far, and with heavy hitters like Assassin's Creed Origins due out later this year, we can't see the French publisher slipping up, even with that Vivendi takeover looming over the firm.

It's almost like PS4 has sold twice as many as Xbox One, innit?
@johncalmc I-I-Impossible!
@ShogunRok
Hope their VR games doing well, Eagle Flight is fairly easy going fun and STBC is grand way to spend Friday night after few glasses of wine
Devs will go where they make the most money. This is why I can see the Xbox one X 'enhancements' mainly being the same as the pro - a bump in resolution and a few graphical upgrades but overall very similar to the pro.
Devs won't spent thousands of dollars and man hours on optmising and creating high def textures (you don't just port the PC ones as the Xbox is a different platform, only UWP games textures can be directly ported) for a platform with such a small adoption rate. The X will be even smaller as well.
Hopefully South Park will do very well.
@Turniplord Its funny I have read a ton of insiders saying the same thing that the X is more like the pro than the leap ahead MS promised and with the price they could not recommend it right now
