THQ Nordic has been doing some great work in the AA game space over the past couple of years, and with the upcoming release of Darksiders III, you'd think it already has its crown jewel that will potentially break into the mainstream. However, the company clearly isn't stopping there, as it's teased two announcements for next month's Gamescom.
The first comes in the form of a brand new IP. "This open world RPG is set in a unique universe and will be a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable." Sounds pretty interesting, right?
Secondly, THQ Nordic will announce a sequel to a "well-known, mysterious and horrific IP." Looking at the slate of properties the studio acquired a few years ago, this could be Painkiller.
Both these titles will be playable at the show, which could suggest that they aren't too far away in terms of releasing.
So, what do you think these games could be? Let us know your predictions in the comments below.

Hey, with Jade Empire 2 never happening (or "Revolver" - I just recently saw Unseen64's video on what happened to JE2), I'll gladly take an open world kung fu action-RPG Sounds like it could resemble something like AMC's "Into the Badlands". Hope there's a good dev attached to it.
I mean, I hope its a little higher quality then ELEX is looking. That just doesn't seem to be the kind of quality THQ Nordic needs in order to really improve their brand, y'know? I like THQN and they're an interesting publisher to watch; just always hoping their games are good. Crossing my fingers these show well at Gamescom
Jade empire 2 in a fallout style! Lol
I would take a new Painkiller, not sure about the other title -mildly interesting premise i guess.
