In case you haven't heard, a new section was added to the PlayStation Store not too long ago which highlights games that certain developers and industry figures recommend. The latest featured list is from none other than Yoko Taro, the director of NieR: Automata, or, as he's otherwise known, that guy who wears the big creepy mask and shouts "sh*t Square Enix!" in marketing videos.

Taro's selection of PlayStation 4 titles is rock solid. He's gone with exclusives Resogun, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Gravity Rush 2, and The Last Guardian. On the third party side of things, he's picked Final Fantasy XV, Life Is Strange, and the Danganronpa series. Can't really go wrong with any of that, can you?

On Final Fantasy XV in particular, Taro dishes out some interesting comments on the PlayStation Blog: "Looking back, I feel like I was trapped by the curse of Versus for about 10 years. This game and its content created over the course of 10 years is unparalleled and unique, and I enjoyed it a lot. The one thing that surprised me the most is their incomprehensible passion towards food and beverage. FF is amazing."

Perhaps even more entertaining, Taro has this to say about Danganronpa: "By the way, I go out to drink with the scenario writer Kazutaka Kodata once in a while too, but when I saw his piercing eyes that appear as though he doesn’t trust anyone around him, I thought “ah, he does seem like the person that would create a mad game like Danganronpa…”

What a quote that is.
