Monster of the Deep was rightfully the butt of many an E3 2017 joke, but the Final Fantasy XV-based fishing spin-off actually looks like good fun in this gameplay demo. The clip shows how you use the PlayStation Move controllers to cast your line and reel in carp, but a leisurely session spent by the side of the lake ends in battle against a beastly bass.
To be honest, with a low price point, we could certainly see ourselves picking this up. How about you? Has it caught you off-guard?

I get it if I can reel in Luna or Leviathan. Either will do.
I prefer this

As I've bought about 90% of the PSVR titles on the store, I'm sure I'll be buying this day one as well.
Could be a good catch if the hook is good.
It has fishing, the bros are very likeable and it could possibly feature Yoko Shimomura's music - If I had VR this would be mine at the right price...we need fishing in every game. I am looking at you, Breath of the wild ;_; you were nearly perfect ...
I didn't really play the fishing in FFXV, as I ran through it fairly quickly (about 25 hours). I regret it slightly, but it was the longest game I've ever beaten. Baby steps. Glad this looks decent. It was quite humorous at the show. 😂
Yes! If the price is right, this will be my first and only Final Fantasy game!
I still can't believe this got announced 😂
Could be rather impressive as fishing games suits VR rather well.
Hmmm. No. Never seen much fun in drowning worms.
@Fight_Teza_Fight LMAO! I was thinking that the character looked like he was ripped straight out of Final Fantasy XV! xD
Low price point? I would need to spend $400 on a headset!
The graphics is surprisingly good.
