Many were expecting The Last of Us: Part II to put in an appearance during Sony's E3 2017 press conference last night, but it never showed up. The sequel was revealed at the PlayStation Experience last year, but Naughty Dog has always suggested that Joel and Ellie's next adventure is a while off yet. As such, the developer was keen to give Uncharted: The Lost Legacy some love during Sony's showing instead - and it did that with a great new trailer.
"Believe me, we're super excited to show you more of Ellie and Joel's 2nd journey, but right now it's Chloe and Nadine's time to shine," Naughty Dog creative director and writer Neil Druckmann wrote on Twitter. We'd hazard a guess that we'll see more of The Last of Us: Part II later in the year. In particular, keep your peepers pointed at the next PlayStation Experience in December.

I don't think there is really anything to show yet. The game is a long way off. I mean maybe a minute long teaser but then people would just be upset that's all they showed.
I have total faith in ND. They could show nothing else until it's realsed and I'm buying it day one.
Yep, makes sense. I thought they might show a new cut-scene, but I understand why they didn't.
I'm not expecting it before late 2018 or early 2019, so it didn't bother me it wasn't there. I will definitely be looking forward to it at PSX though.
Smart move. I wasn't expecting it anyway to be honest. It was a shock at PSX and they made it clear that it was a long way off. I'm sure it'll feature heavily at next year's E3 for sure, and quite possibly this December's PlayStation Experience too.
Glad they didn't show it, to be honest I don't want to see anything until we get closer to a release date (and I am very very very excited). The reveal trailer was perfect, just concentrate on making a new slice of awesome ND.
last of us would have overshadowed days gone so made complete sense not to show it yet. Uncharted would have made a great impact of there hadn't been technical trouble with the sound during the show. I will have to watch it again tonight
I really don't think there is any possibility of Last of Us 2 till 03/19 at the earliest anyways so let it simmer, show off the late 2017 and early 2018 games and then make it the focal next year at E3 when it is closer to dropping. Perfect strategy, especially with what they had to show and it wouldn't have been a new announcement to surprise anyone.
