Oh boy, this footage of Dragon Ball FighterZ looks really promising. Leaked before E3 began but official revealed at Microsoft's press conference, the title is being developed by Arc System Works - the studio behind BlazBlue and Guilty Gear. It's safe to say that Akira Toriyama's timeless work is in capable hands, then.

The big deal here is that FIghterZ seems to be a 'proper' fighting game. We're not saying XenoVerse 2 isn't a real beat-'em-up, but we are saying it's not designed with serious competition in mind. Indeed, very few anime-related releases are. This, on the other hand, looks like it could be heading down a more competitive route.
