It's finally happening, people: Dissidia Final Fantasy NT has been confirmed for a PlayStation 4 release in 2018. The announcement would be something of a surprise if Amazon hadn't leaked its existence earlier today. The game's been in Japanese arcades for quite a while now, and it'll feature over 20 characters when it hits Sony's current-gen console next year.

although i imagine a XB1 port wouldn't be hard but FF games don't really sell well on the XB1 and the XB1 pretty much failed in Japan so they probably think it isn't worth it
It's exciting me that this isn't an E3 announcement TBH. Surely this is big enough to be in the presser...
One thing I've noticed is that the HUD is ridiculous. How many numbers, words, and bars can you fit on one screen at any one time?
Well, the plot is new indeed, and there are some new characters (although I hope for more 012 characters returning, particularly Yuna), so I will likely get it. Dissidia is my favourite fighting game to this day.
Is it just me or the graphic is not that great for a PS4 title???

Man, that Dissidia theme gives me goosebumps every time. I have really high hopes for this one! I just hope it's full of content and not full of DLC content. If I have to start paying for "song packs" I'll be upset. I don't mind DLC costumes though.
