You know, it's really easy to make fun of Final Fantasy XV these days, but we're going to do it anyway. Square Enix has revealed that the game's next update will add in a special sword that looks like a disc jockey deck. It's being implemented in honour of Dutch DJ Afrojack, who already has a track featured in the title's music player. Naturally, the blade comes with its own beat when equipped.
Obviously stuff like this is just dumb fun, but how much dumb fun can you stuff into a game that takes itself so seriously on a surface level? It's getting to the point now where Final Fantasy XV is just one big mess of crazy ideas and sponsored deals - but hey, maybe it's considered cool to eat Cup Noodles while listening to Afrojack these days.

Wow I always eat Cup Noodles while listening to Afrojack. You just described my lunchtimes.
Personally, I am waiting until the game gets its final DLC which reveals the whole narrative was a dream and makes you replay it from the start with a different story.
@Rudy_Manchego Haha, that would be the best DLC.
@get2sammyb Lol - these guys seem crazy enough to possibly try it!
Squareenix should focus on improving the game first then making a dlc, I'm still waiting for that stable 60fps patch for the pro.
I hope to see the same amount of articles making fun of Nier in 6 months' time when they keep coming out with dumb stuff. Remember, all of this is because of Japan anyways.
It is free - I am not complaining 😎
Yeah keep it coming. Embrace the weirdness.
Lol mental. No different this to camo paint, shade of green number 500 that other games squeeze out every couple of weeks. At least it's free for those that want to try it out. Very much doubt that this is going to detract from the team working on the inevitable next game in the series.
So what's the level required to complete this Active Timed Quest? I was able to complete the Cactuar one but avoided both the Marlboro and the Behemoth ones because I was underleveled and didn't have gears that were good enough.
