Well, well, well, what do we have here? Spotted by the always eagle-eyed Wario64 over on Twitter, retailer Best Buy has Dragon Quest Heroes II up for pre-order. The action role-playing game sequel has not yet been confirmed for a Western release, but it's always been on the cards - we honestly thought that it would have been announced by now.
The site states that the title will launch on the 25th April next year, which seems like a believable date to us. Given the timing, we reckon that this is probably going to be made official at the PlayStation Experience this weekend. We'll probably get a trailer, too.
Bloody leaks, eh?

The original was an fantastic title, and I've been hoping the sequel made its way over here, can't wait!
Well I guess that answers my question from the DQB article earlier. Now we'll have a legitimate reason to get a 2nd controller. I was beginning to think Sony was telling all the devs - "Hey guys, we're charging $60 per year for online play, don't go putting any of that couch co-op stuff in there, we can't monetize that."
Maybe DQB2 will have co-op as well, a single player Minecraft game just doesn't seem right. I just finished Lego City Undercover on Wii U and that felt weird single player, which is why I waited 3 years to play it.
I"m having a blast with Dragon Quest Builders, and loved DQ Heroes 1. So glad my PS4 is turning into a full blast Dragon Quest machine!
Just checked out the Best Buy page, seems pretty legit to me.
Maybe Best Buy knew it was being announced today during TGA and the guys running the website just jumped the gun by 9 or 10 hours?
Awsome can't wait to get it PS4 rules.
I liked the first one enough to platinum, so I'll definitely give it a go. However, I do think that the Musou games need to switch things up. They are all starting to play the same.
The first one was great and this one looks even better! Really looking forward to it if this is true.
@fchinaski you mean dq spin-off machine

That's a lot of Dragon Quest. Add in Dragon Quest Builders, Dragon Quest Heroes and soon, Dragon Quest Heroes II on PS4, that's one heckuva collection.
@manu0 For now! I have high hopes for DQXI being localized when it finally arrives!
@JaxonH Yup, I have a 3DS and other systems as well. In fact, I collect DQ games for a long time now!: https://www.flickr.com/photos/videogamescollection/albums/72157633364574295
Played the Japanese version of DQH2, one of my favorite games although the multiplayer is limited only to arena and story battles. As for story battles you have to complete the story battle your friend wants to do before you can play it together. Hopefully DQ11 will have more multiplayer!
