The new Pokémon games dominated the Japanese charts last time around, and unsurprisingly, they're at it again. Nothing's going to stop Nintendo's juggernaut for at least another week or so, but the latest Gundam title at least boosted into view with some relatively strong opening numbers on both Vita and PlayStation 4. And before you ask, no, it's not really the type of Gundam game that Bandai Namco likes to localise. Bah!
Samurai Warriors: Sanada Maru also carved its way into the top five on the PS4, but sales of 26,682 aren't anything huge to shout about. But hey, that one's confirmed for a Western release next year, so it's not all doom and gloom.
Over on the hardware side of things, the standard PS4 climbed back over the 30,000 unit mark after a brief slip. The PS4 Pro, on the other hand, only managed to shift 8243 units, meaning that sales continue to fall week over week. Sony will be hoping that the figure stabilises sooner rather than later.

The Japanese are nuts they buy every new 3DS every Pokemon. Nothing else maybe it is in Sony best interest that they drop Japan.
@Flaming_Kaiser Sony has 7 games in the top 10, so that would be a stupid idea.
Glad they split out the Pro, which dropped 4,000 this week from last, while Slim increased 8,250 this week from last - 8,250 also being the amount Pro sold - so I think big brother Pro is going to be little brother in Japan regarding sales. I can't imagine that much concern w/ 4k TVs in Japan when everybody spends 32 hours a day on smartphones.
Surprised the hardware list is at 11, they should just drop anything under 100.
They better Bring the new Gundam VS to the west!
2DS actually went up slightly. Huh.
Maybe Sony should consider a 2DS-like version of the Vita?
At the same time, regular PS4 sales go up while Pro sales go down. The Pro is a bust.
