Good old Rival Schools. The original PSone release, subtitled United by Fate, was a somewhat underrated 3D fighter with an educational backdrop, featuring a cast made up of students and teachers. It was colourful, suitably charming, and, most importantly, quite a lot of fun. In short, we've always wanted another one - one that didn't end up on the Dreamcast.
Nostalgia aside, it's nice to hear that series producer Hideaki Itsuno may well be up for making a third game. "I want to make a new one even now!" he said in an interview on the Capcom Fighters Network. He continued: "Please tweet at me using the tag, #RivalSchools3 !" We might do just that.

I remember renting the PS1 game a long time ago, I enjoyed it at the time, in recent memory I watched some youtube videos, I think I thought it didn't look as fun as I remembered, but I will still gladly do my part in tweeting for a sequel.

Well two characters from Rival Schools are in an SFV stage so it's possible. Also Marvel Vs Capcom 4 would be nice too.

@sub12 Agree, Capcom fighters are still high quality experiences, it's the overall package that's the problem.

I love this game I spent do many hours playing it. I would for the original to be released maybe as a bundle of they release a new one.
Still have the game on PS1, enjoyed it back in the day. Still haven't played the Dreamcast game though, and I'm down for a Rival Schools 3.
@sub12 yeah they should've made it about $140 (£60 in UK in early 90s is about £90 now and the £ used to be worth a lot more $ thsn it is now) with only 8 characters, two of which are exactly the same, like SF2 in the good old days on the SNES.

If Capcom is going to revive any 3D fighter property, I would much rather finally get Capcom Fighting All-Stars, or see Episode 3 of the Star Gladiator saga.
