Well this is all a bit familiar, isn't it? Once again, the PlayStation 4 has topped the Japanese hardware charts with 22,717 units sold despite the fact that there's been bugger all releasing on the system.
The PS4 "Welcome Price" version of last year's Tales of Zestiria was the only current-gen title to make it into the top 20, and even then, it barely managed to shift a dismal 5,045 copies. Elsewhere, relatively big sellers from the last couple of months - including Overwatch and Dragon Quest Heroes II - are dotted throughout this most recent list, but the actual numbers aren't really worth a mention.
And we thought the UK sales charts were boring...

I'm beginning to think all Japanese ps4's are modded to play 3DS and wiiu games, as they don't seem to sell any software. Unless with their amazing Internet speeds they're just downloading games this generation.
How is this top 20 boring? It has everything from Kirby to Taiko Drum to GTA to Pokémon to Phoenix Wright to Overwatch while the UK one is shooters, Lego and Sports, every single week.
I know PS4 didn't do well software wise, but look at the hardware numbers.
