Bungie's bringing a big change to Challenge of the Elders starting next week. The Destiny activity, which sees a fireteam of up to three Guardians take on an assortment of enemies while dealing with various gameplay modifiers, is being randomised from the 2nd August. In other words, the developer will no longer be setting the rules and enemy types itself.
In theory, this new randomised system could end up producing some memorable bouts, but we're sure that it'll only be a matter of time until players start complaining. Still, we reckon more variety is never a bad thing when it comes to Destiny, so we're willing to side with the studio's decision for now.
Does this sound good to you? Pray for the appearance of easier bosses in the comments section below.

I thought it was already randomised lol. I doubt that will make much of a difference, or add more variety, I bet most players won't even notice.
@DrClayman You probably have a point there.
@DrClayman I can see why some think its randomized already, but there has most always been two modifiers that have blended well together. For example: Most of the weeks with precision shots as the bonus points, small arms (bonus damage on primary kills) has been coupled with it. They seem to make every other week difficult or easy. I think after next week, things will definitely be more dynamic.
I generally don't even bother to notice, consider or care about the modifiers. As long as I'm not getting one hit obliterated it's all good.
