Retail promotions have propelled DOOM to the top of the UK sales charts, ending Overwatch's spell at the summit. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End moved up into third, while FIFA 16 and Grand Theft Auto V enjoyed boosts as well. Mirror's Edge Catalyst subsequently dropped into sixth, as Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the Euro 2016 edition of PES 2016: Pro Evolution Soccer, Star Wars Battlefront, and LEGO Marvel's Avengers rounded out the top ten.
The only other new entry worth mentioning is MotoGP 16: Valentino Rossi, which entered in 19th position. A pretty drab UK sales charts this week, then, but that's to be expected of the summer months. Sony will be happy to see Uncharted 4 hanging around, of course – it's still the best selling individual game, and it has been since launch.

I really want DOOM - but i think i will wait until christmas when it's cheaper because i would only really play the campaign a few times.
Nice!!
Now here's hoping Id gives us some single player DLC or a sequel.......no one cares about this multiplayer nonsense.
Hell yeah. Loved it. Tried playing it again yesterday but I'm not really able to stomach second play throughs these days. Can't wait for more Doom games though.
The top three will be the best selling games of the summer hols, and will still well near the Christmas period.
Totally deserved. Doom is at its best! Best surprise of 2016
