In case you missed the news prior to the start of the E3 avalanche, Final Fantasy XII is being remastered on PlayStation 4, and it'll include the highly praised Zodiac Job System. The superb PS2 role-playing title is, in our humble opinion, one of the best titles on Sony's last-last-gen console, so the hype is well and truly real here at Push Square Towers.
However, not content with a mere graphical overhaul, Square Enix has also revealed that it'll be rebalancing a lot of the game's finer aspects. Speaking during PlayStation's E3 2016 livecast, producer Hiroaki Kato claims that the developer is tweaking numerous bits and pieces, such as character statistics, monster statistics, item availability, and loot drops. Apparently, various elements were looked at based on player feedback, and that's when the team decided to alter the remaster's inner workings.
All in all, it's nice to see the developer go the extra mile with such an anticipated re-release, and here's hoping that the finished product turns out even better than the original.

Yay, maybe Adamantite will drop more often?
"Monster Statistics"
That makes me believe Yiazmat will be much, much shorter of a fight.
^ Oh I think I have PTSD for that but maybe the improvement will make it bearable
My favorite Final Fantasy ___! Even better!!
Loving the 4x speed, badly needed in some of the copy and paste dungeon areas. Its down my pecking order of great final fantasy games (8,7,10, 6, 9, 12), even my second favourite set in Ivalice (Vagrant story ftw). But its still boss.
@themcnoisy 8 first? Blasphemy!
j/k don't wanna start a useless opinion based war
Nice nice nice
Can't wait to play it!
@Feena haha, I feel a forum poll coming on!
I need this in my PS4 now!
I can't wait to see how good these new remasters turn out.
FF7 and FF12 may end up being the greatest remasters ever made.
Cool, I'm fine with remasters of great games. I played FFVII on PC back in the day and I liked it very much.
