Mirror's Edge may be best remembered for its saturated art style and innovative free-running gameplay, but this author still listens to Lisa Miskovsky's haunting theme song to this day. It's perhaps no surprise that DICE is trying to recapture the original game's musical magic by signing up a big name artist to write an all-new tune for Catalyst, with Scottish synthpop act CHVRCHES in the hot seat.
Warning Call doesn't hit the highs of Still Alive for us – that ethereal piano melody really was sonic gold – but its big arena drums and twinkly synth accents definitely get the ol' pulse racing. Anyone fancy running a marathon? We definitely feel like running a marathon after giving this a couple of spins…

It's not Chvrches' best song, but I quite like it, and it seems to fit the game. Just a few weeks to go!
I love Chvrches. They just had a song featured as part of the indie game LOUD, too! Their manager/marketer deserves a hefty Christmas bonus!
I really like chvrches and it's always nice to hear their music in games
Not bad
Still Alive is my best theme song everrrr.
Just hit up the soundtrack on spotify and am quite enjoying it. Thanks for the recommendation!
