With only hours to go until Alex unlocks in Street Fighter V, Capcom's finally released an official trailer for the hulking new combatant. Sporting some impressive range and a slew of bone-crunching special moves, Alex looks like a solid first attempt when it comes to the titles's six additional characters.
Still, we reckon that the Japanese developer's going to have to start stepping its game up if Street Fighter V is going to regain any lost faith from disgruntled fans. For a start, this video should have been out days ago to get people pumped - but here we are gawking at a new character that we already know a ton about. Oh well, just keep the content updates coming, Capcom.
Alex and the in-game store will be available later today, but are you still playing Street Fighter V? Use up some meter in the comments section below.

Alex looks sweet. Love that moveset. I should probably play 3rd Strike to prepare myself.
And of course, (insert obligatory single player content comment here).
@Bliquid Used up all my big boy words. Maybe my dictionary will come back when Capcom makes the game better.
Reminds me of Zangief
@Bliquid I was joking too, but I apologise if I came off as rude. I like to trade friendly jabs with people, even if they actually do mock me.
But yeah, Alex. He seems like he'll be good.
Alex is free to use for a little while. Pretty cool but I might not be him just yet. Chun Li's story costume is already available, but that ain't the costume I want lol. I gonna start doing some Battle Lounge matches now so if anybody wants in a friendly game I'm all for it.
@Grawlog can't you play survival for now? It's a series of matches against the cpu... Also you get to fight Bison at the end.
@Feena
Get out of here with that survival crap buddy, lol, one round matches and no shifting in stages until after the 5th opponent. Dumb SNK-like difficulty spikes as well.
All of these young whipper snappers don't even understand what's so fun about working through an arcade / ladder mode, and how it's been a staple since 91.
@Feena
......also the notion of "can't you play now".....
No!!, it's not about waiting,.......thats what people are upset about,.........it's about expecting a minimal (but satisfactory) amount of content at release, especially for full retail price.
@sub12 I grew up playing the snes version of SF2...so I hope you're not calling me a youngster but I am flattered?. I WISH. I understand you have to beat a dead horse in every single sf5 post but keep your attitude away from me please?
