Hold on to Your Immaculate Hair, New Final Fantasy XV Details Are Coming Very Soon

Plus some great new screenshots

Ah, it would appear that Final Fantasy XV's big marketing push is about to kick off ahead of its still vague 2016 release date. Square Enix has announced that this year's first Active Time Report is scheduled for the 30th January, and yes, that means new footage is only five days away. Can you believe it?

Apparently, we're going to be seeing more of the battle system, with magic attacks leading the way. We'll also be shown some stealth gameplay, which, if we're totally honest, doesn't sound too appealing - so here's hoping that it actually looks decent.

To keep your hype peaked, the Japanese publisher's gone ahead and handed out some screenshots, too. The fresh pictures show new locations, enemies, and, we assume, a quick glimpse of the aforementioned magic attacks. All in all, the game's looking pretty gorgeous.

Graphics wise it's looking really nice, & looking forwards to seeing the battle system especially now it's in real time.

You know, I'm almost starting to believe the game may actually come out this year in 2016. I have more faith in it than Zelda U at the moment.

The only thing that irks me are the stupid rocker hair cuts. I mean sure, we let it slide in the past. It was even forgivable for FF10, because the game itself was amazing...But could someone please tell Square Enix that the 80's called and they want their hair back? Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for the many awesome jrpg's, but let's face it, these guys are painfully out of touch.... The characters are fashion nightmares and 15 years later it still hasn't sunk in lol.... Come on Japan.... It'll be 2020 in four years... Let that sink in for a sec.... You gotta let the 80's go.... lol

@NomNom Remember when they last hyped us for new gameplay and we got that, like... 50 second clip of Noctis and the gang fighting a malboro and then dying? Yeah...

Just picked up Type-0. That'll be my first FF game, and if I like it, I'll try XV's demo. If I like that, I'll probably board the hype train.

Release date would be nice (obviously ) had about all the new's I can handle. One of these day's they will release the game and it'll go totaly unnoticed because people just assumed it was more news, come on chap's give us a release already even if it's in December I don't care I just wanna know...
