Square Enix must be rubbing its paws in anticipation of the release of Dragon Quest Builders in Japan next month, because Minecraft: PS Vita Edition's success in the nation has proven that there's a market for block busters in the East – the genre just needs a little old-school RPG brand power to take it to the next level.
Gleefully, the publisher showed about an hour of PlayStation 4 gameplay from the forthcoming spin-off at Jump Festa 2015 this weekend, revealing some of the title's new locations, as well as its free-build mode. There doesn't appear to be any multiplayer which is a bit of a bummer, but we still suspect that this is going to sell very well regardless.

If only it was in english
like it so far otherwise
No multiplayer?
Just went from Day 1 to on sale for $20.
Is this going to be released in only Japan?
Let me guess, another title that looks interesting, that won't make it's way to the US or anywhere else...just Japan? Come on, bring it over here as a retail game!!!
@JLPick @dryrain It'll definitely come overseas, don't worry about that.
This looks like the game to finally pull me into the Minecraft fad. It also reminds me of Fantasy Life, a 3DS game that I simply adored last year.
