Evoking sweet memories of hand-drawn fantasy titles like Dragon's Crown, we certainly like the look of Fallen Legion, which has just been announced for PlayStation 4. It doesn't have a release date yet, but we imagine that it'll be launching next year.
Judging from the short gameplay trailer that we've embedded below, the title combines role-playing game elements with reaction-based action, where various buttons control the attacks of different party members. "I love RPGs and fighting games," says Spencer Yip, director of developer YummyYummyTummy. "This shows in Fallen Legion's unique battle system that blends both genres together [...] each character has their own action bar and it's possible to start slashing with Zulfiqar then switch to Apollon to shoot a barrage of arrows."

Can we just have streets of rage instead...
Looks similar to what Record of Agarest 2 and Cross Edge did. Can't say that does much to interest me. I'd rather just have my RPGs turn based.
I love it but i like to play a lot of different styles. Why only limit yourself to turnbased when there are many more different styles.
