'Epic' is a word that gets thrown around a lot these days - often rather carelessly - but we reckon that The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt's new 'Epic Trailer' sort of deserves to use it. In what appears to be a bid to make everyone remember that it's arguably one of the best titles of 2015, the video is a montage of many memorable moments from Geralt's first PlayStation adventure.
Of course, the whole thing's spliced with quotes which essentially amount to saying that it's "the best game ever made", but look past them and you're left with a pretty inspired clip that's actually got us raring to give new game plus a go whenever we've got another 200 hours to spare.

Hands down my GOTY. When is the next DLC? I need it now...
@Splat Some point in 2016 - so something to look forward to!
@ShogunRok - Hearts of Stone was outstanding. I can't wait to see what the next expansion is like. When the inevitable GOTY edition comes out it's going to be great value for those that missed out.
@Splat Yeah, Hearts of Stone is easily one of the best pieces of DLC I've ever played. That inevitable GOTY edition will be something special if next year's expansion is as good!
My game of the year...quite literally. I have been playing it from May to October. And it led me to the book series - just started the last novel (sigh!) on Sunday.
Looking forward to play Blood and Wine: Touissant is a fine setting
@TripleGK
As long as you beat the main game proper, you should be fine.
@TripleGK @sub12 Yeah, just make sure you're above level 30 or so and you should be fine.
I can't wait for Xmas any longer!!! Aaaarggghhh.
If I have to pick which game I'd enjoyed the most this year I would probably go for either Rocket League or Xenoblade CX which I'm lucky enough to be playing already, but if I had to pick a GOTY, there is no doubt in my mind I'd say The Witcher 3. There have been a lot of excellent games this year, but none of them achieved what the Witcher did. MGS V has an incredibly solid gameplay loop and Fallout 4 had all the exploration you want, but TW3 is triple A in every aspect. It looks and sounds like a dream, the sidequests are interesting and even the main story is alright, especially compared to what the competition is offering. TW3 has the production values and grandeur of a GOTY and they deserve the title more than anyone.
(It's just £23 on Zavvi now btw )
Only finished the game recently and it is one of the best games I've ever played. Bought the boxed dlc to get the Gwent cards and am only about an hour into it but it'll have to wait until after Fallout 4. In fact I'll probably play both dlcs together as soon as Blood and Wine releases. I'll be delighted if either this or Fallout takes game of the year as both are truly exceptional and both are in my top 5 of all time.
Looks great in 60fps in that video! I just remember dancing round with my sword out in a lag fest on PS4, unfortunately
Okay, slightly overly dramatic but it was a problem that let the game down for me.
@kyleforrester87
You should try it again now, after the patches, The Witcher 3 is a pretty solid 30 fps, to include in the marshes and cities.
I'll give Fallout 4 one thing though, as much as people complained about bugs and glitches, the Witcher 3 had just as many if not more when it first came out.........Roach has been in some pretty awkward positions. Still my GOTY though.
The Baron quests are some of the most memorable I've ever played. Really stick out in my mind and for that reason I picked it as my game of the year.
@sub12 yeah I need to give it a fresh play through with the latest patches in fairness. Will do one day!
Considering I've been playing nothing but this for two weeks solid, yet I found a lot in the trailer that I haven't either seen or have but seems to be slightly different then what I encountered speaks volumes on the game's quality and quantity of content.
I clearly remember all those snippets except the one where Geralt is holding back Philippa.
