Here's a snippet that should have you dancing like Dana in her dorm room: Life Is Strange 2 has sort of been confirmed. Speaking as part of a French interview with Alchimy.info, DONTNOD co-founder Alain Damasio revealed that he worked on scripts for the original episodic adventure – and suggested that he will perform the same task on its sequel soon. Are we cereal? Yes.
We know that the original title sold over one million copies, so a follow-up would certainly make sense. Personally, we'd like to see the story continue with a totally different cast of characters, as we feel like Arcadia Bay's plot came to a conclusion. We'd also rather the developer stick with the teen drama rather than the sci-fi mumbo-jumbo – but we know that there's some debate over that.
Whichever direction it takes, though, more Life Is Strange is something that we can definitely get behind.

Any news on a physical release of the original?
Didn't much enjoy the demo and the reviews didn't bite me either, I'd be happy to see another title, not sure what'd do it for me.
@Worlock_ed Nothing yet, but I'm sure it will happen.
@get2sammyb I hope so, would rather own it it that way. If it's not out within 4 months, I'll just download it. Really liked the demo and the reviews have been consistently good.
WOOHOOOOO!
I finished the game like an hour ago...damn what a ride it was!
And no...the sci-fi mumbo jumbo was what made the game different and interesting! So don't change it to a simple drama PLEASE.
But man...Life is Strange was a great game!
Still haven't played it outside of the demo. But I do like this news regardless.
Unfortunately they said a few months ago they would not continue Max as the protagonist regardless of ending.
Although id miss her, it still like them to continue this series, this and until dawn are two of my top five favorite games this generation.
Followed hyperlink was not disappointed.
well they did make 3 butterfly effect movies so there's more to steal.
@AFCC You think? I thought the teen drama stuff was really refreshing for a game, while the sci-fi stuff is ten a penny.
@NomNom I loved Until Dawn. Is this game similar?
@tenderbeefcake only that they are games that are affected by choice. They are two different genre but I just enjoy the style of story telling.
