How could we possibly forget Gravity Rush 2? Acclaimed director Keiichiro Toyama took to the stage to show off some new footage from the forthcoming PlayStation 4 follow-up during Sony's big Paris Games Week press conference – and the project continues to impress. In addition to big boss battles and a new sidekick mechanic, we also got a look at protagonist Kat's new stances.
As in the original game, the blonde bombshell will be able to alter gravity as she pleases, but she'll also be able to change the extent to which she does this. Lunar mode, for example, will enable you to move much faster due to a reduction in gravity, while Jupiter will power up your attacks by increasing gravity. It sounds like a cool twist that should add some more mechanical depth to this underrated series.

Never played the original, but it looks decent enough to maybe get for the sake of having something else other than just JRPGs on my PS4.
@Expa0
heck, I would buy a PS4 just for an HD remake of the first Gravity Rush. But to also get Gravity Rush 2? Definitely going to have to start saving my money because this is day 1 for me.
Count me as another who will be a day-one buyer of this game. I'm thrilled they decided to make a sequel because I really didn't think it would happen after the first failed to light up the sales charts.
The controls look fluid so they didn't just scrap a vita title and put it towards the PS4, I can be happy for that even if it won't come for the vita

It is a must buy, I will buy this whenever it drops.
I was curious about the first one but the second entry looks even better!
Seems like the Gravity Rush Remastered version is digital only...
I am so disappointed that GR2 is not on vita. FU Sony.
@maamets why "FU Sony"? Yes it's a shame it didn't happen, and it's a shame that the Vita hasn't received in general the first party support it deserves. But it is clear looking at the stuff coming through of Gravity Rush 2 that their vision for the game would never have been possible to fit on the Vita, it just couldn't be done.
I'd rather have the best possible version of the game than have the developers constrained by the system they're developing for, leading to a game that doesn't end up as good as it could be.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping for Gravity Rush 2 to be a PS4 game. Not only will the developers have more capable hardware but a bigger userbase as well. Even with the minimal effort Sony's European and American branches will surely put into marketing it, I'm hoping it will still find a decent size audience.
