We did ponder internally whether Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection would ship on multiple Blu-rays, but developer Bluepoint has worked its magic and managed to squeeze all three escapades into 44GB of space. This is particularly impressive when you consider that Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception consumed over 30GB on the PlayStation 3 alone.
Exactly how the studio's pulled this off is something of a mystery, but having played through the opening chapters of the entire trilogy on the PlayStation 4, we can confirm that it's done one heck of a job. All three titles look sharper and play better than ever before – it's already a frontrunner for the best remaster of the generation.

Oh it does look good though...played it for about 15 minutes at EGX and it runs very well!
@KratosMD I imagine the single player and multiplayer share a lot of assets to be honest, but you could well be correct.
@KratosMD @get2sammyb I downloaded the MP a while back and it was that amount.
I'm assuming the Uncharted 2 MP was decently sized too, because otherwise it seems like a small difference on the surface. 44GB for 3 games sounds cray.
Has loading screens! Hope it was just the egx demo
Demo out tomorrow too.
Looking forward to this demolishing most of my hd. Pro evo and Lego batman beware you are being purged.
Looks like I'll need to uninstall my Batman: Arkham Knight then.
Ugh I have no more room left on my hard drive. This is such BS why do these companies make the games so big when Sony only gives a 500 gb Harddrive?
Ds anyone know if Sony is currently making a proprietary external hard drive for the ps4? If they are I will just hopld out fort, if they are not does anyone know of a good instruction video on how my internal HD and which one I should buy?
Looks like I'll have to stump up for one of those 2TB hard drives that you can get on Amazon at a good price.
@get2SammyB Forgot to ask in your impressions last week but I've heard that the collection has some extras thrown in (I know you can't say specifics) is that true?
@adf86 There are extras, yes. Can I talk about them yet? No. Watch this space, though! hint hint
@get2sammyb Good to know, sounds like Bluepoint have done another sterling job. Hope you had a good at EGX.
That is astounding. The original 3 games took up almost double that on my ps3
@SonyInfinity Sorry for linking to a rival site, but Eurogamer has a good guide for this:
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2014-how-to-cheaply-upgrade-your-ps4-to-2tb
£60 for a huge upgrade. Haven't tried it myself yet but my a friend did on his PS4 and is very happy with the results.
@SegaBlueSky Thanks bud, appreciate that. Is Sony even considering an external hard drive? Considering I am not real savvy at changing parts inside a computer I worry about my ability to successfully change out my hard drive internally, mainly because of my sausage fingers, lol
