Parisian developer DONTNOD's polarising episodic adventure Life Is Strange will take its final set of photos on 20th October, publisher Square Enix has announced. While we'd expected Episode 5 a little sooner, the studio's said that it's taking extra time to ensure that the finale is "the best that it can be". Given that this series has been a constant source of surprise, we can't wait to see how it's going to conclude.
The outfit did suggest that the instalment could end up being delayed as "things may change in the lead up to launch", but it stressed that it's doing everything that it can to hit the date. So why reveal the target so soon? Well, today is protagonist Max Caulfield's birthday, though we doubt very much that she's feeling in the party spirit right now. After all, we left her... Actually no, you should just play it for yourself.

Heck yeah! I'm ready. I've absolutely loved the last 2 episodes!
@Neolit I think that's how we're handling all episodic releases in my family now. Got and borderlands have been crazy.
@Neolit Same.
I've only ever bought episodic games once they have all been released. I don't want to complete part of the game then wait two months to play the next bit. How fecking backwards is that?!
Not only that but my interest is likely to dwindle if I keep taking breaks from a game...
LIFE IS DRANKS OCTOBER 20TH!
@ztpayne7 But its hard to resist. An episode gets a good review and I want in. Then the long hard wait between episodes begins.
