We're not entirely sure whether these are popular around the globe, but the NOW That's What I Call Music compilations are a Christmas staple here in the UK. And now the lucrative brand is getting its own PlayStation 4 game, in the form of NOW That's What I Call Sing. To be honest, it's a terrible title, but it's not like they could name it SingStar, eh?
Make no mistake, though, that's exactly what this is. Due out on 23rd October, French developer Voxler's promising the "definitive" karaoke experience, with 30 hit songs from artists such as Ariana Grande, Jessie J, and Charli XCX. The title will feature a variety of modes – including duets – and, unsurprisingly, will require a USB microphone to play.
"The NOW brand and karaoke gaming fit together perfectly," brand co-managing director Peter Duckworth said in a press release. "With this exceptionally strong product that Voxler has created, we have high hopes that NOW That's What I Call Sing will establish NOW at the forefront of this popular gaming genre." Well, it can't be any worse than Sony's recent effort, can it?

Finally! XD
That track list is so bad, there is only like 2 songs that I think are okay the rest are forgettable at best.
@Jazzer94 I don't know... A lot of it appeals to me... But I do have terrible taste.
Having said that, a lot of these songs are already old, and the game's not coming out for another four months... It's going to be really outdated!
@get2sammyb Realised there are 4 songs I like not two, and yes I agree most of these are old now so the track list doesn't feel very fresh. I think it doesn't resonate with me because of the POP and summer dance music vibe most of the tracks fall under.
Now that's what I'd call words that would give Tasuki a field day, and me a lifetime ban from the site.
So I won't.
@Johnnycide XD
Pop music, ugh
@Johnnycide : it should be called : NOW that's what I call bad

@eliotgballade NOW that's why your landlord evicted your noisy ass. (Not you, personally. People who would buy this).
REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO SONY STICKING AN UNREMOVABLE ICON ON THE XMB FOR THIS GUYS AMIRITE?

@ShogunRok
It sounds like this title was made up by a Japanese person that can't speak English, the kind that asks you to set us up the bomb. Why not just go with "NOW That's What I Call Singing?" Is that too grammatically correct and logical?
@Matroska Yeah, I thought that, too. I considered that maybe they wanted to keep the last word long, but we've had rubbish like Now That's What I Call Christmas in the UK over the years.
@Johnnycide True story I got evicted whilst at uni in a shared house for playing my too high. Now that's what I call a coincidence.
@themcnoisy ouch. Depends what you were playing though. If it was like peter gabriel or high on fire or something I'd just be chill with that and wear earplugs or something. I was once punched by a neighbour for having my old band practice in the basement.
My neighbour was a 50 year old woman.
she was also deaf.
@Johnnycide Beegees, Queen, INXS, Ocean colour scene and Oasis are my top 5 bands - in that order as well. My pushsquare cred has now hit the floor.
@themcnoisy mate I had Moseley Shoals on the other day. Beast of an album. Anyone who doesn't like Queen is an enemy of the state in my mind an all.
Applause is the wrong Gaga song. Aside from the second verse, it doesn't work well as a karaoke number, and was probably included because of it's repetition.
We need more love to the non-singles of Born This Way. Or they should've included MANiCURE.
Heck, give us Just Sing: Lady Gaga.
ALSO, no T Swift. No deal.
