This is probably the way that remasters should be handled in the first place. Dishonored: Definitive Edition is up for pre-order on the PlayStation 4 in North America right now, and if you happen to own a copy of the original PlayStation 3 game digitally, then you'll be able to purchase the re-release for a heavily reduced $19.99. Everyone else will have to pay $39.99.
Of course, the really good news here is that the last-gen version was made available for PlayStation Plus subscribers fairly recently, so as long as you added it to your download list, you'll be able to take advantage of the discount. The polished up package is due out from 25th August, and will include the original game alongside all of its add-ons.

Didn't have the game yet so maybe it's good to start now.
This isn't just a discount on pre-orders, right? The price isn't going to jump up to full price on launch day? Just making sure!
Never had any interest in this game. The art style seems odd to me and really puts me off for some reason.
This just reminded me that I need to play this which I got from being a Plus member
Shame it isn't free, but 20$ for add ons I didnt buy, so I suppose it rounds out about even, right?
This is why I like Bethesda, glitches aside. Finally, a Definitive Edition that isn't a blatant cash grab.
Their is zero chance of me purchasing this digitally as im sick of running out of hdd space as it is. Besides, as fun as this game is, even with the discount, its not going to be a game im going to want to keep once I've finished it. There're certain games I'll always hold onto and this isn't one of them.
I think I'll just stick with the free version I got through PlayStation Plus.
Its a good deal though for those that really liked it and wanted all the dlc.
Cool, I got it for free and the graphics were a little lackluster. Worth an upgrade to help fund TES6 right?
Eh a deals a deal but I'm not interested.
Lovely stuff....love the game...back to Dunwall;)
Got it on plus so now I'm interested. You win Bethesda, just take my money.
Damn, I might take advantage of this, haha.
