Call of Duty: Black Ops III was only announced for the PlayStation 4 earlier in the year, but Activision's never one to leave cash on the table. Writing on its official blog – we didn't even know it had one – the company has confirmed that Treyarch's first-person shooter will be boost-jumping onto the PlayStation 3 on 6th November, so now you've got an excuse not to upgrade.
Of course, it won't quite be the same game on Sony's creaky old system. For starters, the campaign co-op will be limited to just two players, and the post mentions that there'll be other new-gen exclusive features removed. Moreover, it's being converted by The Amazing Spider-Man developer Beenox and Mercenary Technology, with Treyarch seemingly not intimately involved.
While it's clear that people are starting to move on from last-gen systems now, Call of Duty is a big enough brand to warrant one last push on older hardware. Let's hope this really is one last push, though...

Hahahaha! It's time to move on, stop it!
Beenox
That is a reason for disaster, as I still angry having such a bad Amazing Spidey 2
-____________- WHY!! well I know why $ but c'mon on... sheesh. well at least they are letting someone ported and not waste resources.
To be fair, some people only care about CoD and the difference is only cosmetic, even the performance was better on the old gen consoles, why would you change that ? Theres more than 140m potential buyers
