Remember how amazing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End looked during Sony's press conference at E3 2015? Well, the press were treated to an extended demo that, in all honesty, prompted some minds to erupt. Many had pondered how the Japanese giant could possibly keep such a jaw-dropping demo under wraps – and the good news is that developer Naughty Dog's agreed to stream the whole thing on Twitch next week.
Starting from 11AM PST on 1st July, you'll be able to join the studio for a playthrough that you're not going to want to miss. The full demo picks up from where we left off, with Drake hanging onto a rope being dragged across a bridge. It apparently extends to a point where the protagonist is riding a motorcycle being chased by a tank – and yes, it has all of the polish that you've come to expect from the firm by now. We can't wait.

Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian and Horizon Zero Dawn have the best e3 gameplay IMHO.
Totally blow me away!
tho the best announcements are no doubt FFVII and Shenmue 3.
Isn't this really ruining the wow factor when you come to play this section though? They showed a pretty big chunk, it's going to feel like going through the motions when you come to get the game. I'll probably watch it because I'm only human but c'mon...
@kyleforrester87 I get what you are saying and to a degree I do agree with you. Considering the amount of videos I have seen of Arkham Knight though, I can't say its impacted on the story. A game like Uncharted is one set piece after another after another and the story and characters that links it all together. I would be more than happy if Naughty Dog kept that part of the demo under wraps but its already been described by journos and those lucky enough to see. Chances are some parts will be the same when you play but there is a bit of freedom that could make the scene play out in slightly different ways. That combat in the market, the drive down, etc could all be slightly different to your play through although at certain points it will match. I was impressed by the combat in the mountainside and the E3 video just blew me away. I have this on pre-order and can't wait! I had Arkham Knight on pre-order for over a year and we got to see lots of video's, interviews etc for that but I don't think its spoiled my enjoyment. Its the nature of the beast I guess, people want to see real-time game play to decide if its a game they want. You can't see a 'minute' or movie style advert/teaser but you don't want the story spoiled either. I am sure a 15min segment may be slightly spoiled when you come to play it but its not like the other 'however many' hours are ruined or the plot/story too.
After just finishing Uncharted Golden Abyss it has me wanting to play the trilogy again... I'm debating dusting off the PS3 or waiting for the PS4 collection.
I wasn't going to double dip but I think I just might.
@BAMozzy Yeah.. I just remember watching one or two Uncharted 2 videos demonstrating some of the set pieces in that game and it turned out they were some of the bigger wow moments. It definitely lost a lot of its impact when I came to actually play those sections. Just highlights how scripted it can be in places. But as you say, it's basically one set piece after another, so hopefully they have plenty more underwraps.
@kyleforrester87 Yeah I agree with you on that. I don't see too many videos of a game so I can still be surprised. So I'm going to hold off on this, even though I enjoy listening to ND talk about the games they do.
I was happy to find out that Tomb Raider is stepping away from the Uncharted franchise a bit, because there's just room for 1 title like this imo and you can't beat ND. Uncharted is a QTE fest, but with some form of make believe freedom, but where a game like The Order just failed miserably, uncharted knows how to hit the right spot every time.
I like my interactive Indiana Jones/ romancing the stone movies, but I count on TR to bring me more action where I can participate in, more survival elements and player progression, so ND can focus on what they do best: tell a story.
Where with TLOU I sometimes felt the actual gameplay got in the way of the story that was being told to be honest, it just feels that Uncharted will nail it and bring the interactive story telling to a whole new level. Who needs an Uncharted movie when you can have the actual Uncharted itself?
@kyleforrester87 I'm in the same boat as you. Tho I think it was uncharted 3 that got the most spoiled for me through previews. But still, I don't think I can wait a year for this game
Great!
OMG, those mud effects! O_O For me UC4's still my favorite game of E3 2015. Only nine more months to go.
