Metro Redux PlayStation 4 PS4 Demo

You won't even need a ticket to take a tour of 4A Games' post-apocalyptic PlayStation 4 compilation Metro: Redux, as the developer has deployed two hearty demos on the PlayStation Store today. Available in North America and Europe, the generous downloads will enable you to play the first nine chapters of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light for free. Can't argue with that, eh?

"The Metro games are atmospheric slow burners, so a short demo doesn't really do them justice," a studio spokesperson wrote on the PlayStation Blog. "But we cast our minds back to the shareware days of the 1990s, and remembered that when DOOM was first released you got the entire first third for free, and only paid if you wanted to play more."

You'll be able to upgrade to the full versions when you're finished, so this seems like a nifty way of judging if they're to your tastes. We loved both games when we reviewed them last year, awarding the Ukrainian developer's overhauled PS4 package an 8/10 in our review. Will you be picking up these teasers?
