During today's active time battle report, Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy XV's playable demo, Episode Duscae, will get its much anticipated 2.0 update next week. Fans of Noctis and the gang will want to mark the 9th June on their calendars, and have their PlayStation 4's primed and ready to download the patch at 16:00PM BST.
As for what the update actually brings to the demo, you can look forward to a supposedly smoother frame rate, new moves and group attacks to experiment with, and some brand new dynamic events, which seem to show off relationships between party members. What's more, you'll be able to try and take down those large, long necked lake monsters in combat, if you so desire.

Sounds good. I started the demo (bought Type-0 preowned, code hadn't been used. Lucky me) but then when i heard of a patch coming I stopped playing. I'd prefer to see how things are post-patch as what I'd viewed previously seemed a little underhwelming.
@MadchesterManc Yeah in its current form at least, the demo shows that the game has huge potential, but it's very rough around the edges. Hopefully this update smooths the whole thing out.
I'll be able to fight those HUGE beasts?????
so gonna try that
Was gonna give this a miss as I've enjoyed the demo. But then you mentioned the long neck ginourmasaurusrex sipping water - they are gonna be slain and eaten as stew.
A patch for a demo, uh ok.
Weird concept, but considering XV's still a way's away, it's not unwelcome.
