We hope you don't think we're being hyperbolic with that headline - we really do believe that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's latest showing at Sony's E3 2015 press conference was one of the best demos that we've ever seen.
Closing out the show, Naughty Dog's new-gen title went above and beyond, showcasing an utterly awe-inspiring car chase that cuts through an entire city - or thereabouts. We won't waste any more of your time - watch the gameplay that we've embedded, and pick your jaw off the floor before posting your thoughts in the comments section below.

But can it be the "best ever" if Drake just stands there for 3 minutes not doing anything?
That was insane. Demo hick up can't stop Drake.
Tomb raider whaaaa !!!this is all i want
Absolutely awesome. Shot the game right back to the top of my list, unseating MGS V.
Absolutely stunning...
2016 can't get here soon enough.
Anyone else get reminded of the Tintin movie
Best car chase ever in a game - wonder if there are different routes that you can take during that sequence.
Naughty Dog should just change their name to Never Disappoints!
Naughty Gods never disappoint thay have proven this time & time again, the demo was stunning.
Amazing density and detail in the environment. So much of the world is destructible. Fluid animations.
Epic! Cant wait
Well this looked nothing less than fantastic! 2016 can't come quick enough!
Awesome! Glad my pre order is in now
@viciousarcanum Blistering barnacles, that's the first thing I thought of.
So good. Please bring the release date forward again Sony!
@rjejr Took the words out of my mouth. It was pretty awkward seeing him just standing there with something obviously having gone wrong. I was half expecting someone to come out and say "Well at least it proves it's an actual gameplay demo" followed by awkward laughter.
@Matroska - I assumed whoever's job it was to play as Drake went to the bathroom or the PS4 controller became disconnected from the PS4.
Glad they fixed it tough. As good as the rest of the show was, if it ended w/ Drake just standing there, well, that would have been worse than the EA Pele interview.
@rjejr I actually missed that. I started watching the EA conference but it was so bad and embarrassing I kept leaving it paused and then refreshing the page after 10 minutes so it'd jump back to being live again and miss out the terrible display on-stage. I guess I missed that part, fortunately, but I've heard a lot about how bad it was.
The inevitable sport focus of the EA stuff kind of dooms them, to be fair. Very few people in NA care about football, just about no one outside of NA cares about NFL. So you have this hemispherical zoning-out going on as they move through their various games and THEN you factor in that regardless of regional preferences, the typical geek doesn't give a hoot about sport. I'm from the UK and I couldn't care less about football - and Pele, while I politely respect him as a legend in his field, means nothing to me at all. I'm much more moved by stuff like Ueda getting applause and handshakes from the crowd.
Please watch the language -Tasuki-
This looked pretty awesome
I was going to say something, but I'll have to come back after a change of pants.
