Destiny will be receiving a new expansion pack in the form of The Taken King and it'll be releasing later this year on September 15th of this very year, bringing with it some new sub-classes and enemies to blow to hell. Sounds pretty standard.
Usually we'd expect to see expansions release as downloadable items, but there's a chance that The Taken King may be getting a physical Blu-Ray release as a retail box flashed up during the show. How odd...

Yup, the retail version is up on Amazon for $60 - you're getting the game, and all three of the expansions. Which is a really good bargain for new comers considering The Taken King DLC alone cost $40.
I see push square hasn't changed its childish attitude towards this game. Did you purposely embed a poor quality video out of spite? The 1080p version is easy to find on youtube.

Damn bro. Damn.
Excited for this, hopefully this will also mean that matchmaking will be introduced to the now easier raids. I can see it happening, when I'm finding easier to complete VoG - which is puzzle heavier than CE - easier to complete with complete randoms.
Destiny has been my biggest disappointment in my 15 years of gaming.
It's not only getting a physical copy but a complete unique special edition too with original game, steelbook, all 3 dlc and a few other collectables. It's currently up on the game website to preorder
@STW Yup, but its a Gamestop exclusive. You can buy the digital version for the same price but you're not getting any of the bonus physical contents. Which is dumb.
