Fallout 4's announcement has sent us all a bit loopy over the past few hours – we're still spinning around on our chairs pulling party poppers and streamers. As expected, then, all of the big retailers are rubbing their hands together gleefully at the prospect of taking on truckloads of pre-orders from eager fans of the franchise.
One outlet is even going that little bit further by offering the chance to secure your copy at a fairly decent discount. UK outfit ShopTo will let your reserve your copy of Fallout 4 for just £39.85, a generous mark-down in price from the £59.99 RRP.
Usually we don't see such deals this early on and it's doubtful that we'll see the price drop any lower anytime soon, so if you're a bit of a cheapskate (no shame there folks) and you know that you'll be throwing your cash at Bethesda's long-awaited sequel anyway, it may be worth nabbing this deal up before it gets nuked.
Will you be pre-ordering Fallout 4 – or will you be one of the four people with the patience required to wait for a price-crash post-launch? Try not to have a falling out in the comments below.

@Neolit
I sure hope so. My body is so ready for this game, but I'm not sure it's ready to wait a year and a half.
Come on, is there anybody that ever pays more than £40 for a standard edition copy of a game? If you do, then you're a fool. I know £60 is the new RRP, but other than Grainger Games and GAME, nowhere is going to charge you that much.
I'm hoping for an awesome collector's edition though, as I missed out on the last 2. I better finish The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne before this comes out, else I won't get back to them for weeks!
With usf4 just released, mgs around the corner and fallout 4 coming its gonna be in gaming heaven. Factor in the unchartered hd which ive never played and shovel knight and axiom verge about to be purchased I literally am in gaming nirvana.
I can't wait for fallout 4 to be released, I feel sorry for any other games I might own though as they'll all get put on the back burner till I either finish f4 or get stuck, I already have games that don't get played and even have 2 that have never even seen my ps4
Hopefully you'll be able to play it day-one, if it is out this Xmas i'll pass for MGS IV. Then hopefully by the time I do play it it will be in working order, that's a big hopefully.
What really suck is that om probably going to buybthis twice one for ps4 and one for pc, the mod support for pc is amazing so many talented people. I wish they could set this up to have mods installed for this game on console. Thats asking alot and the hard drive space would suffer. But I can dream.
@BladeRider mods on console...maybe if this steam thing with money for mods returns in the future it could be a possibility for the ps5. Ofcourse Sony will only invest in these options if its commercially viable. And its an even smaller chamce because it would probably make the ps and games much easier to hack. Maybe I should just get a gaming pc because I really miss mods..
@Flurpsel yeah thats true about hacks. The would have to monitor what was uploaded before letting people dl it to console. Yeah pc mods are great. I need to upgrade my pc, my ps4 is rivali g it in specs now. But its like 300 mula to get another gpu for crossfire....😒
The price has now gone up to £42, but I'm still going to get it. Big discount.
@BladeRider I believe there's a Steam console coming out soon, but will be around £1000.
hope I'm not straying off the path too much (even tho this is bethesda) I would be a happy chappy if they decided to bring out Skyrim for PS4, I know TESO is due out this month but I got a feeling they can still make both Skyrim and TESO a success even if released around the same year.... but I could be wrong
