Sony's launching a new initiative in North America with this week's PlayStation Store update which will reward members of its premium service. Imaginatively named, er, PlayStation Plus Specials – don't laugh, this naming lark is hard – the deals will be refreshed weekly, and will be available exclusively for subscribers of the Japanese giant's membership programme.
Up for grabs from today through until 1st June are PlayStation 4 faves such as Bloodborne, The Order: 1886, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse – though, to be honest, you'll probably find better prices in your local second hand shop. Still, baby steps and all that – we're sure that coming up with a catchy moniker for the members-only promotion took up much of the PlayStation Store team's energy this time.

For a moment there I thought they were using paper a ploy to get you to but digital lol.
@Jaz007 Same. Sneaky Sammy and his headlines.
There is also a Ubisoft and Deep Silver sale going on in the NA PS Store, not sure about Europe or Asia but I got Rayman Legends for 20 bucks.
Paper, y'all.
I thought it was going to be about Papers Please for a moment and got excited. Sammy can have a feature every week called "Today's specials"
If you have BestBuy in your area you could get The Order 1886 or Bloodborne physical discs for $40 even. Gamerclub will take another $8 off.
Anyway, weekly deals are a good idea, just gotta wait for the good deals to pop up.
they are trying to fool us... these deals are not any better than what we used to get... before it was better because you had discount like these for everybody then PS+ subscribers got an extra 10% off or so so you ended up paying less...
I got a new physical copy of the order for $40 a couple months ago, 20% off retail would come to about $57 here... these deals are lame although not as bad as the month they gave a 9 cent discount on tomb raider xp and perk boosts.
Super pumped for Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines for $14.99 for the Vita. That much content is a steal at that price.
Getting Saints Row 4 bundle for $15, can't beat that
@get2sammyb lol
Sony's already HAD weekly sales going for about halfway to forever now, both with and without Plus, posted on their weekly store update. Then those started slowing down a few months ago, then a few weeks ago they stopped posting the actual sales on their blog completely and just started linking to their dubiously-accurate-and-navigable storefront.
At the time people were confused and annoyed by it, but I guess now the reasoning's clear: it was so they could relaunch what they were already doing, but for only half the audience, and claim it as being something new.
Oh well; I guess as a non-Plus plebe, checking their sales page weekly is dead to me now either way.
@get2sammyb do people still use physical currency often enough for that reference?
PPS? Oh no.
@Punished_Boss_84 Could be worse - Playstation Membership Specials....
....or PMS
@thedevilsjester
I'm impressed that you worked out what the "paper" reference meant. I only realised when I read your comment.
Just when I decided to go 100% digital with my consoles, we get all those PSN sales. It's not fair, my wallet doesn't like it
@Pipr I am not sure if you are serious or being facetious; but I had no idea that paper in this article meant physical currency until I read someones comment on it. I actually tried to re-read the article to make sure I did not miss anything (I was looking for some e-billing, or some such component) I have not used physical currency (except for a very rare event every now and then) in over 15 years. My comment was not meant as a jab, but as an honest question. The only people I see using physical currency anymore are either very poor, or very old, neither of which (one would think) would be browsing pushsquare.
