Up for a bit of retro carnage this week? Well look no further than Metal Slug 3, which is being deployed on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Vita tomorrow in Europe. A port of the original game which released back on the NEOGEO, it goes the extra mile and supports all of the modern features that you'd expect, such as trophy support, cross-buy and cross-save functionality, and even offline and online co-op.

To be honest I've never played any of the Metal Slug games. Looks like a cross between Contra Hardcorps and Gunstar Heroes. Mmm might pick it up for couch coop.
I prefer Metal Slug 1, X & 5, but this one isn't bad either, certainly one of the toughest.
Neo geo should just release a neo geo anthology. As a standalone its too short and the amount of money they have made they should release 1,2 and 3 all in one download for £12.
@themcnoisy You took the words right out of my mouth. While this is a good game I do feel for the price they should have given us the Metal Slug series.
