Bungie's revealed a few little features that'll be added to Destiny in its upcoming patch 1.1.2, including the ability to toggle your helmet on and off while running around the Tower.
Indeed, you'll be able to show off your headpiece in the shooter's social space if you wish, via a handy little menu option. On top of that, you'll be able to 'lock' your gear from now on. This essentially means that you can keep your most important equipment permanently safe, without fear of dismantling stuff by accident.
The update will also make changes to how special and heavy ammo works in the Crucible. Both bullet types will drop and appear less when you're busy taking apart your fellow Guardians, which, Bungie hopes, will make for a more balanced experience.
Are you still shooting around space in Destiny? Lock and load in the comments section below.

Might go on when "house of wolves" comes out, as I sadly got the guardian edition right now with all the other games, destiny disk gives me shivers.
Still a great, if not flawed, game.
My copy is currently still gathering dust, and these patches just add nothing and are huge wastes of time.
Once they patch things that need addressing, such as getting stuck in the time gates in VoG or having a loot table that stops giving you useless green gear at light 32 and uncapping the money, Ill pick it back up.
That's one unfortunately worded headline there.....
@Johnnycide
Now now Samuel, no need to deploy Wolfcastle.
Next patch - rubbing your helmet. When house of wolves out? Been waiting an eternity for it.
The fact that raids have no matchmaking really killed this game for me. Sorry Bungie, but I simply don't talk to my old friends anymore and it's almost impossible to get enough people on my friends list at the same time. Especially when we all live in different parts of the world. I really can't fathom why that decision was made because it essentially locks out people from what is arguable the best part of the game. Also glimmer cap needs to be fixed, I'm tired of having to buy a ton of ammo just to get rid of excess glimmer. They should consider setting up some kind of currency exchange. And obviously the drops are still totally broken. Won't be touching this game till Den of Wolves drops as I, sadly, preordered it. Hopefully it'll be better than The Darkness Below or else I really will be done with this game for good. Tis a shame.
@thatguyEZ Look in the forums in online communities Riscazz is looking to do vog again and badmutha who commented above is pretty good at destiny as well. When wolves drops Wesker,Kyle and I will undoubtedly be firing up our snipers again. Also if you have finished a raid before that's fair enough, but without comms and teamwork you are dead in the water
