The man who made Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi, is easily one of the gaming industry's most important figures. The 52-year-old's legendary status is well deserved, but Mega64, one of gaming's pioneering comedy groups, have viewed the director's career from a slightly different angle with their newest video.
Sakaguchi stars as himself, as he aspires to become a hip hop artist. Instead, his musical dreams fall to one side, as the titles that he creates continue to take the world by storm.
If you're already a fan of Mega64 and their work, you'll probably be desperate to see this anyway, but we'd urge any fan of Final Fantasy to take a look – even if it's just to see the franchise's founder go mental with a stapler.

What's sakaguchi doing these days? Didn't he make lost odyssey for the 360? If you are ff fan its well worth playing and some of the pre rendered backgrounds are gorgeous... Just checked wikipedia and he made secret of mana, blue dragon and rad racer. What a legend!!! Lost odyssey was one of the best 360 games and had a cross between final fantasy 8 and 10 vibe, and had this awesome right trigger function in battles. Will it ever come to ps?
Is that Johnny Gat?
@themcnoisy Sakaguchi founded Mistwalker, which developed Lost Odyssey and The Last Story. I think they're currently porting their mobile RPG Terra Battle to consoles! Nobuo Uematsu is with them, too!
Omfg I laughed so hard at this xD I'm subscribed now!
@Kage_88 lost odyssey was mega, would love a port. Yeah I thought so, uematsu does the tunes doesn't he? Epic.
@themcnoisy Yep, Uematsu is arguably one of the best ever gaming composers. For me, Final Fantasy just isn't same without his soundtracks.
@ShogunRok danadanadah dah dah danahhhh.
Ha! Very funny, love M64.
"..... THE MAIN CHARACTERS NAME IS BUTZ!"
