The latest instalment in the wacky Disgaea series has been slated for a Westen release this Fall, and it's got a brand new English trailer to prove it.
The strategic role-playing game looks just as crazy as fans have come to expect, with a ragtag cast of warriors applying tactical beatdowns to a whole load of weird and wonderful enemies.

The Disgaea Franchise is a big reason I purchase Sony consoles first. Hopefully they'll keep the positive moves made in D2 enabling more efficient grinding......
Dood that is fantastic news, the prinny inside me is about to blow up with excitement. I never knew this was coming out. Amazing.
One thing that does always surprise me is how well the console versions seem to do, despite the fact that without fail they always receive a portable re-release just a little further down the line, which have improvements on the original - why not just wait for that?
I would play all Japanese games in their original language with English subtitles if it were possible. Like with anime, American dubs are a poor fit and often cringe-worthy.
@Stezimov Surely there must be at least one english dub that you prefer though?

@Stezimov Couldn't agree more, I'm always disappointed when a game from Nippon doesn't have an option to change the voice work to Japanese. Cowboy Beabop is one of the few where the English VAs actually did stellar work.
