If you're anything like us, you'll be cursing Sony's decision to only include two USB slots on the PlayStation 4. Granted, it has made amends for the PlayStation 3 by giving the PlayStation Camera its own port – but with wireless headsets, controllers, flash drives, and more, we often feel like we're juggling our spare slots in order to do what we want to do.
Fortunately, electronics manufacturer Aweek has come up with a novel solution, crafting a stylish hub which will turn your two overused USB slots into five. The device is surprisingly slick, maintaining the angled look of the next-gen machine, and packs one USB 3.0 input and four USB 2.0 inputs. While this obviously isn't ideal, the latter should be fine for charging, etc.
The crafty bit of kit can be purchased from Amazon.com for just $5.00, and while there aren't an enormous number of reviews yet, the few that are there seem largely positive. Would this nifty device crush your USB woes, or are you fine with just the two slots for now? Plug and play in the comments section below.

Doesn't that block the front vent?
@AhabSpampurse Yeah, it looks like the circulation won't be quite as 'open' (though there will still be gaps). I doubt it'd block it off enough to cause a problem, to be honest - but I suppose people will have to decide whether they want the extra slots enough to take the risk.
Hmmm, I may get this considering I'm tired to switching between charging cable (I never take it off charger unless I change the PS4 location), USB (for in game music) and Gold Headset receiver. Really seems a mistake I can't use the 3 things at the same time as standard.
if they were all USB3.0 ports id buy one up in a heartbeat (even at a significantly higher price point). but, given its configuration (1x 3.0, and 4x 2.0), I will stick with my external 3.0 hub.

Yes. Yes I am. Curse you Sony.
It's going to be terrible when the new RockBand comes out. As it is, on my PS3 I have a crazy little daisy chain going on hooking up all the wireless dongles (which they explicitly tell you not to do). If this didn't block the vent a bit, I would get one in a heartbeat.
Had to buy a similar 1 for my 2 port PS3, needed it for the Eye and Skylanders portal, and also now Disney INfinity portal, and charging stuff and watching stuff off of USB thumbdrives. $5 seems pretty cheap, even if it is USB 2.0. I have a PC w/ 6 2.0 USB and 2 USB 3.0 which are hidden away in the back somewhere between 4 other 2.0 ports, now THAT is a PITA.
Somebody needs to get a photo of this USB strip and the external HDD enclosure attached at the same time, I think it would make a nice symmetry.
Ah, I use the Xbox ones USB ports because they are on the back to charge my headset/controller, then use TV USB port to Power the px4 wireless transmitter. Try not to use front USB ports unless absolutely necessary.
WHY OH WHY didn't SONY put 2(or even 1) USB port on the back of the PS4 i will never know(& people asked for that with the PS3 to) So when SONY(& other companies) say 'We listen to Fans' i just roll my eyes & YAWN!
Two of the three reviews are one word each, and the other seems dubious. Between that and the $4.99 shipping, I'll pass for now. Cool idea though!
I bought one a few months back and wasn't that impressed. Looking at it on the website, I was blown away and loved a similar product that I had for my PS3. My biggest gripe with it is that my wireless headset won't work when plugged in via this, as the adapter won't connect unless it's directly plugged into the PS4. Whether it's because the power is split so there is less juice going to each new port I can't say. It just put me off. The version that arrived looked a lot cheaper that I was expecting too. It will allow you to charge several dualshock controllers at once, but in my opinion, it isn't much use for anything else.
@AhabSpampurse No it doesnt look at your ps4 again, the front vent is on the left where this port thing is to the right
