We hope that you're ready for another Dragon Ball Xenoverse trailer, because the upcoming brawler hasn't quite had enough of flaunting itself just yet.
The newest video focuses on Piccolo, one of the franchise's main heroes, and how his destiny can be changed significantly thanks to the game's alternate timelines. During the first big fight of Dragon Ball Z, bad guy Raditz is held in place by protagonist Goku as Piccolo kills them both with his ultimate attack, but the scenario is altered here as Raditz manages to break free, leaving Goku to take the full extent of the beam.
Of course, this means that your own custom character jumps into the fray, seeking to patch up the timeline. With Piccolo's help, it also looks like your fighter gets to learn the devastating special beam cannon for their own use, which means that there should be plenty of ways to customise your warrior's playstyle.
Although it's entirely in Japanese, we'd recommend watching the trailer that we've embedded and letting us know what famous moves you'd like to study in the comments section below.

well to be fair the story is just an adaptation of the DB Online story, which was written by Akira Toriyama and DB Onlines story was pretty good
also as it's an adaption of DB Online which was canon to the series that could mean that XenoVerse is canon to the series too
on a side note who here is NOT going to be a Saiyan in DBXV because I'm thinking of being Human or Majin
@FullbringIchigo If I do pick this up I'd be tempted to go for Frieza's race, as that is apparently also going to be an option. Just had a quick google for DBO and looks like it was a shame it got shut down. DBO:Revelations is a thing though (full scale fan made emulation of the DBO servers, effectively bringing the game back to life) - will definitely be keeping my eye on that...
Ok so I've just watched the embedded trailer. That was the first trailer I've actually watched for XV, and it looks amazing.
@SteveButler2210 try this trailer

Gaaah why does this, The Order & Bloodborne have to be out in the same month!!
My poor wallet
@SuperSilverback Have you ever considered making your taste in games less good?
@ShogunRok I have, but i wouldnt be able to live with myself if i did!
@SuperSilverback tell me about it, I can only afford one game a month (I chose XenoVerse because I'm a huge Dragon Ball fan)
@FullbringIchigo Same here man! Played the budokai series to death!! Didnt get into Tenkachi much cause thats when transformations started counting as characters :/
Started watching DB again from that start recently. Still awesome
@SuperSilverback I'm nearly through my current Dragon Ball binge started with the very first episode of Dragon Ball now i'm up to the point where Super Saiyan 4 Goku just started fighting Omega Shenron in GT
not much left now
also as the DBXV story is based on Dragon Ball Online which was canon and done by Akira Toriyama and takes place after GT so it's perfect timing really I can carry on the story with no breaks
EDIT : I just did a count and counting Battle of Gods as an extra long episode as it canon to the series I have nearly got through 509 episodes that's about 12790 minutes of anime (if we say each episode was 25 minutes and the movie was 90 minutes)
2nd EDIT : I forgot Dragon Ball Z Bardock the Farther of Goku that was about 47 minutes, Dragon Ball Z History of Trunks which was about 47 minutes and Dragon Ball GT a Hero's Legacy that was about 45 minutes so that would be 12929 minutes and 512 episodes, Bardock the Father of Goku isn't canon to the manga since Jaco came out but is still canon to the anime at least until Jaco and Dragon Ball Minus get animated that is
@FullbringIchigo loved the bardock movie!!!
