The best thing about games releasing on the PC is that modders instantly get to work tinkering with the source code. While this isn't our idea of entertainment, said part-time programmers do often come up with some nifty tweaks. And this Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes modification, which puts auteur Hideo Kojima in the lead role, is likely to raise a smile or two.
The skin swap is a little bit creepy, but we reckon that that's part of its ridiculous appeal. It's been enabled by a modder named 'Sergeanur', who's released a number of tools to help you to edit the PC version yourself. Personally, we think that we'll stick with the bog-standard PlayStation 4 release – but we would like to see the series creator make a playable cameo in The Phantom Pain.

His face is like a puffer fish.
Make it Special Agent Jack Baur's face and it's 24: The Game..
That's an awesome tribute. That man deserves it. He's been behind so many of our favorite games! Shout to Kojima.
