It's the start of a fresh new year full of gaming, and to help kickstart it into turbo gear is the bi-annual Awesome Games Done Quick marathon. Running from the 5th to the 10th January on Twitch to support the Prevent Cancer Foundation, an army of titles will be blasted through at speeds that may make you cry.
The lineup ranges from old classics such as Spyro the Dragon and Silent Hill to new blood such as Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Transistor. While these titles may have taken you weeks to beat, though, many are being finished in under one hour using some of the weird and superb tricks that the runners have up their sleeves. With everything from precision jumping, explosive shooting, bug exploits, and more, this promises to open your eyes to some of the imperfections in your favourite forays.
We've conveniently included the entire PlayStation lineup below with YouTube links included to any runs that you may have missed. If you're eager to see more, however, make sure to check out the full schedule. Does anything on the list catch your fancy? Tune in to the comments section below.

Thanks for posting this Nicola. I watched some of the Uncharted one earlier and it was blowing my mind a bit. This doesn't look like a fun way to play, but I must commend the people that figure this stuff out. Impressive.
What's some chunks of uncharted and infamous. I'll definitely try and catch some dark souls II
@get2sammyb Keep in mind I've only really tried proper glitching in SM64 and OOT but there is something weirdly fun beating a game super fast in unconventional ways and just testing stuff to see what works.
The glitch is so funny
You know how long it took me to platinum Transistor? This saddens me
Why would anyone do this? How is it fun to play games this way? People are weird. Lol
i'm to laid back for all this speed run nonsense, i'm never
in a hurry for anything.
Can you keep posting links?
