Welsh developer Dakko Dakko got its start on PlayStation platforms, producing a couple of critically acclaimed PlayStation Minis which were later ported natively to the PlayStation Vita. However, it dumped Sony for its first major home console project, as Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails released as a Wii U exclusive last year. Of course, few outfits can resist the lure of the PlayStation 4's growing install base, and the developer's announced that Scram Kitty DX is set to scratch its way onto the next-gen system "very soon". Don't worry Vita owners, because there'll be a version for your favourite handheld format, too.
The title will support cross-buy and cross-save, so you'll be able to take your progress on the move. Moreover, it will come with a PlayStation exclusive Challenge Mode, in which you'll need to "collect scores of floating cats in the fastest time possible". The foray itself will see you grinding rails across various vibrant environments in order to scoop up your pet kitty, who's been imprisoned in the "world's biggest orbiting space laboratory, along with all of Earth's cats". It looks a little bit like momentum-based puzzler StarDrone, although we much prefer the cutesy artstyle on display here.
Has this port got you purring, or have you got your claws out over the hand-me-down? Meow like you mean it in the comments section below.

that looks pretty cool! kinda reminds me of the magnet mechanic in mutant blobs attack. or that octopus ps mini that i forget the name of. something about being on "rails" that i really like lol.
@Gmork___ Same developer as the Rotating Octopus game! xD
@sinalefa - Immediately thought of you. Maybe it will come to X1 when Scalebound does?
I hope they update the Wii U version actually....bought it to support the developer.
This game is TOUGH. I've raged quite it more times than I'd care to admit.
@rjejr
You know I was thinking about this the other day? This masterpiece deserves a bigger exposure. The second screen was never necessary anyway. Not sure if X1 will get it, but it should.
I really hope Sony fans pick this up. Worth every penny of those $10 I paid day 1.
This is an excellent game, and tough as nails. Highly recommended!
Looks pretty fun actually. I'll keep an eye out for reviews before taking the plunge
I was very disappointed in this game i thought i would be playing a different game than what was recieved. The quality is there its just not my cup of tea with the way it turned out!
