Ubisoft has slashed the top off Assassin’s Creed Unity’s price on the PlayStation 4, dropping the next-gen exclusive down to £39.99 in Europe as part of Sony’s ongoing 12 Deals of Christmas initiative. The game’s due a patch on Monday that will hopefully solve its remaining issues, so this may be worth a punt.
If you’ve not picked up the Japanese giant’s next-gen platform just yet, Assassin’s Creed Rogue’s price has also temporarily plunged to £24.99 on the PlayStation 3, while Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment is currently sitting at £19.99 on the Vita. These savings are set to run through until 12:00PM on 15th December, so chop, chop if you want to take advantage.

That is... NOT a good price.
I know they're doing their best, but 'just above retail price' shouldn't be what they're aiming for.
@Confused_Dude Yeah, the whole sale's been pretty poor so far. Missed opportunity.
i can get the xbox one digital version for £18 this is a joke.....
£39.99 for a broken game! u having a laugh ???? £19.99 would be better
PES 15 for 30 quid was the best so far.
Wait until next year, Unity's price will drop like a rock in some sales I'd wager.
Ubisoft released a broken game which some people couldn't even play to the title screen, they then proceeded to apply fixes to parts of the game that enable you to pay money for extras before making the core game playable.
Ubisoft have said to you: "we'll fix this at some point. We know you already gave us 40 quid, but while we get this thing to the point where it's fit for purpose, please feel free to give us more money".
Ubisoft don't care about gamers, they care about money. If you must play Unity, then get it pre owned. When you buy this game you're giving these people carte blanche to take liberties, and things will get much, much worse.
As others have said, that's a rubbish sale price. If I do bother with Assassins Creed again it won't be until Unity is definitely totally fixed or maybe not until a few games down the line.
Prices of digital games take the f*****g p**s. I was just on the psn store and saw games like BF4 for £55. Absolutely disgusting, I hope people stop paying these prices to send a message that these prices are a complete rip-off.
Like others I tend not to buy digital full price, as those prices are horrendous. Again like others not going anywhere near AC Unity until fully patched and in the bargin bin which @ShogunRok predicts will be the January sales
@get2sammyb streetfighter x tekken was a good price at 6.99, I forgot to pick it up though and now its back at 39.99 on the store front, bah
havent had a single issue with AC:unity from release day. You ppl are mental if you think this game is fukked up beyond playable. Its a great game for the money just like the rest of the series upto now bar AC3 which was a disgrace to the series. $39.99 is a shameful price I paid £79.99 (GB pounds) and thought it was well worth the price now they have added FC4 or The crew for free is just an add on plus the free dead kings DLC. Ubisoft have been more than thankful for you buying this game ffs sort it out ppl. This game is the balls. The only one to drag me away from GTA online btw. You guys are looking for any slight fault. The game is far more than playable even without the so far patches ffs.
@all the posters: Did you really have a bad time with this game? Do you really deem this game unfinished... anyone can see this game was complete just some coding errors have made it not the ideal dream we wished for.
Tlou £17, thank you
