Ten years ago, a little game called Killzone released on the PlayStation 2. The sci-fi shooter was falsely labelled a Halo killer by the media at the time, but despite being forced to stack up against such an iconic brand, the Helghast have waged war on four additional PlayStation formats since, across six critically acclaimed games. And to celebrate the series’ anniversary, Guerrilla Games is giving a ton of Killzone: Shadow Fall goodies away.
That’s right, as part of the birthday goodie bag, you’ll obtain access to an updated version of Killzone 2’s uber-popular Academy map in the game’s competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes, as well as a second Intercept stage named The Weapons Facility. These will all be completely complimentary, so if you own a copy of the game, all you’ll need to do is fire it up to download the spoils.
If you want to celebrate in style, though, a 10th Anniversary Pack will also be available on the PlayStation Store, augmenting you with new skins, voice packs, player card icons, and more. Interestingly, this premium add-on will even enable you to customise the reticules of all of your weapons, taking the title’s personalisation features a little further. Will you return to the futuristic fray for some anniversary fragging? Sing happy birthday in the comments section below.

@get2sammyb the anniversary pack part of the Season Pass for Shadowfall?
I think I'll give the new content a blast when I get home later, PvZ doesn't seem to wanna work lately so it's back to Vekta for multiplayer
@MadchesterManc Yeah, it's free for Season Pass people.
Thats how you support a game post-launch. Heavily underrated still one of my favourites!
@get2sammyb That's what we like to hear...
Meh....
Killzone has been deleted from my hdd. Although I have not traded it in, I think that's sufficient thanks for GG, the game has earned a spot on my "shelf" of keepers, so to speak. May not go back. Too many games coming to waste time with shadow fall unfortunately.
as much as I like killzone - it just doesn't keep me entertained My FPS needs modes like gun game - but overall Destiny is a great way to head with FPS - gives depth, I'm just sick and tired of grinding for sh*t that may not even be worth it.
@MadchesterManc Yeah what is UP with PvZ these last few? I haven't been able to get into a normal game of G&G and it's killing me. And when I get into a different type of game, some abilities aren't working properly, it's not giving credit for some kills... it's just a mess right now.
@glassmusic I've no idea myself unfortunately. For a few days it would do nothing but black screen when connecting to multiplayer matches & kick me at the end of Garden Ops games. Was working ok last night though, so I'm hoping EA have sorted out whatever was up. I was starting to go cold turkey from the lack of Garden Warfare...
