We’re still not quite sure what to expect from Sony’s forthcoming PlayStation Experience fan event. While we initially warned you to temper your expectations for big announcements, all of the chatter leading up to the convention has suggested that you may want to keep your eyes and ears open for some sizeable reveals during the show.
SCEA boss Shawn Layden is the latest to add to that expectation, enthusing that the event is coming at an ideal time for the studios attending. “It’s almost exactly six months after E3,” he beamed. “It’s good market for a lot of the game developers to come out and have something new to say, some secrets to reveal, some announcements to make.”
We strongly suspect that you’ll see more of The Order: 1886, Bloodborne, and Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End during the show – but it’s going to be really interesting to see whether we get any fresh game reveals. To be honest, we reckon that it’s still probably best to go into this with your expectations low – after all, there’s a greater chance of you coming away surprised that way.

Oh my, this Sly Cooper cosplay...
@ferrers405 Check out the underarms...
Keep Buzz Kill Shawn away from the stage as much as possible. If it's that type of show.
@Bad-MuthaAdebis
Disappointment awaits on a good majority of that list.
Vita announcements! PLEASE have Vita announcements!
Right now I'm still not overly impressed with the PS4 exclusives for 2015. I gave Sony a slight pass for this year, but enough already. Uncharted 4 is the only for sure purchase, not really into From Software's games but I will give Bloodborne that it should still be a high quality game. That's it though. The Order has seemed like trash for a while now and I don't want to hear the excuses like older builds of the game, blah blah blah. Show me something good or f off. I better damn well see some impressive AAA exclusive games from Bend, from Santa Monica, etc at this event.
2+ weeks to go. ready to be hyped.
