There’s no stopping EA Sports’ soccer simulation it seems, as FIFA 15 is currently enjoying yet another week at the summit of the UK sales charts. The footie favourite has sat at the top of the league for five weeks now, and is unlikely to budge next week either. Of course, we’re sure that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at the start of November will knock it off its perch.
To be honest, this is a rather uneventful best sellers list, prompted by the lack of meaningful new releases. Minecraft climbed into second on the back of the popularity of the PlayStation 4 version, while Destiny also double-jumped into fourth. Sandwiched between those two was The Evil Within, which dropped down a place into third.
Elsewhere, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Borderlands: Pre-Sequel occupied the fifth and sixth spots respectively, as Alien: Isolation held its breath in ninth. Just Dance 2015 debuted in 19th, a little way ahead of SingStar: Ultimate Party, which hit a bum note in 32nd. Have you been flashing your cash of late? Like Fergie vs L'pool style. Picked me up Shadow Warrior PS4 and Tearaway, already got CoD and Dragon Age on pre order so now I'm just playing through watchdogs before I move on to Shadow of Mordor. Thrown in the towel with destiny and getting rid, no intension of paying £34.99 for dlc. Maybe they'll release a 'complete edition' for me to rent later on.
Good ole Fifa does it every year Didn't buy it this year myself i'm still plugging away at Destiny atm and I might be getting CoD I really can't make my mind up I didn't buy ghosts and have to say i didnt miss it at all last year but had BF4 to keep me going. And damn £35 for the expansion o.O is that for just the first one or both??? I paid £25 (£12.50 each, a fair price I thought) for the next 2 expansions and that was less than a month ago.
So now we await the FIFA15 vs CODAW battle.
November's massacre.
Got Bayonetta double pack yesterday, oh such fun I am having.
