Like a larger puppy that’s spied a particularly pleasant pack of Bonio biscuits, Bungie’s colossal first-person shooter Destiny is waiting in the wings, ready to pounce upon all of the delicious accolades for itself.
Still, that’s not stopped Ubisoft’s hack happy escapade from stretching its legs and breathing the air of success one last time, as it’s rocketed up the UK sales charts into second position on the back of retailer promotions. The sandbox saga was flanked by Metro Redux and The Last of Us Remastered, both of which continue to perform well on the PlayStation 4.
Elsewhere, next-gen re-release Diablo III: Reaper of Souls – Ultimate Evil Edition farmed yet more loot in fifth, as Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare started to wilt in eighth. Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition and Grand Theft Auto V rounded out the top ten, as Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair debuted in a respectable 29th place.
